Easter Assembly Year 3

Year Three treated the school to an amazing assembly all about Easter. They taught the audience about so many different things including: the story of Jesus’s death and how he rose from the dead; the period of Lent and the celebration of Mardi Gras. The children made striking Mardi Gras masks using the traditional colours of gold, purple and green and it was interesting to learn what the colours symbolise - gold symbolises power, purple symbolises justice and green symbolises faith. Year Three showed off their singing talents with two seasonal songs and recited their favourite poem about Springtime and New Life.  Well done Year Three - you did a marvellous job!
